Kennedy Sogand Khalili, born in 2016 in Norman, Oklahoma, is a talented young author in second grade. Raised by her parents, Rahil and Farzad Khalili, Kennedy’s literary prowess was evident at the tender age of six. She won the PTA National Award of Excellence, outshining over 300,000 entries in the literature category. At seven, she triumphed again at the local PTA reflection competition for her book, I am hopeful because I choose love. Kennedy’s passion for reading is as profound as her love for her friends and her dog, Benji. This young author’s journey is just beginning.
